The great Guildford Flood

Christmas 2013 will be remembered as the year of the Flood. Guildford with the river Way was caught out as the torrential rain caused the river to breach the bank in the town center causing extensive flooding to shops, offices, pubs and badly parked cars. These images are juts a peek at the sorry state:

Tour of Britain Bike Ride

The Tour of Britain passed through Surrey on day 7 before finishing in London on Day 8. The shots were taken at the top of Bar Hatch Lane as the riders climb out of Cranleigh towards Shere. As you can see a little crazy with only enough space for the riders and team cars to squeeze through. The second batch are from London where the riders sprinted from Parliament to Tower Bridge and back 8 times. (click to enlarge)
